SELF-CATERING GUEST HOUSE

Tucked away behind trees and an old Irish boundary wall, you'll find our cosy self-catering guest house Ballymaloe Cottage. We are in walking-distance to the well-known Ballymaloe House, located between picturesque Ballycotton and historical Cloyne in East Cork. Several famous wedding and event locations like Garryvoe Hotel, Barnabrow House and Castlemartyr Resort are within close proximity and the world-famous Ballymaloe Cookery School is also only a 5min drive away.

Ballymaloe Cottage is a guesthouse with self-catering accommodation. We offer three en-suite bedrooms (which can be booked by individual parties or a larger group) and a new shared guest kitchen which also offers the possibility to relax in a living room area. All bedrooms and bathrooms are newly renovated. Please visit ROOMS and GALLERY for more information and impressions.

If you would like to find more information about the area and which activities and restaurants we can recommend, please click on  NEARBY

We speak fluent German and conversational French. Für Information und Buchungsoptionen auf DEUTSCH, klicken Sie bitte hier.

Ballymaloe Cottage was built around 1860 and formerly belonged to the grounds of Ballymaloe House. There have been numerous extensions to the original building which has been a guest house since the 1950s.
When renovating the period home in the last few years, we tried to complement the needs of a modern family home and guesthouse with the building's age and history.
Both in the outfitting of the rooms and our service we put emphasis on the details to make your stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

To follow up on our renovation progress, check out our Instagram. There is still a good bit to do, but after countless wheelbarrows of construction waste, a lot of paint buckets and late nights of furniture building we are happy to finally open our doors and welcome you home.
